A Local Law Firm Wanted to Move Forward Without Leaving Anything Behind
When St. Joseph law firm Taylor Siemens Elliott Creedy and Lyle (Taylor Siemens) decided it was time for a rebrand, it was because everything was moving in the right direction. They had two new partners and wanted a new look that would capture the breadth of the legal services they offer.
Sometimes, a Rebrand Is a Celebration
Companies rebrand for many reasons. Sometimes it’s to communicate new ownership or because the organization has acquired a new product line. Sometimes, like in the case of Taylor Siemens, a rebrand is a celebration of an expansion.
Rebranding is always a significant undertaking, and Taylor Siemens was no exception. There were a few challenges they needed to overcome, including a long list of partners that would be hard to remember. They needed something short and memorable that would roll off the tongue.
In addition, Taylor Siemens wanted a new look that wasn’t typical for a law firm. Many firms use a gavel or balanced scales in their imagery. Overall, the goal was to communicate that nothing was changing for the firm in terms of values or service. They were simply progressing.

The Right Partnership
Nobody celebrates a brand better than SJC Marketing. Taylor Siemens partnered with SJC, inviting the team to fully capture their brand identity through a new logo and color scheme, as well as a new name.
SJC Marketing embraces its role in making a law firm like Taylor Siemens shine. The companies worked together to create a unique logo and color scheme featuring a four-point, gold star outlined against a dark circle.
They also came up with a solution for the name. The firm would emphasize the first two names but include all five in the logo, communicating that they would be known as Taylor Siemens.

Successful Brand Identity
SJC Marketing created a look and name that captured the long history and outstanding reputation that Taylor Siemens enjoys in the region. The memorable and unique logo encompasses the wide variety of legal services the firm offers.
