We all know at least a few fairy tales we can recall from our childhood. The Frog Prince is an ageless story of love, kindness, and loyalty. In it, a prince is put under a spell which turns him into an ugly, green frog. The prince can only return to his human form if he receives a kiss from the beautiful and spoiled princess in the story. There is a happy ending to the story, but we won’t spoil it any further. The Frog Prince story continues to live on through a new local shop in St. Joseph.
Once upon a time…
Chelsea Teater had a dream to open a unique store in downtown St. Joseph, and never wavered in her persistence to make her dream a reality. It took her four years to open a local artisan market and boutique, naming it after her favorite childhood story. The Frog Prince is located at 112 South Eighth St. in downtown St. Joseph and carries a variety of products including jewelry, candles, food and accessories and much more. It is an adorable shop with fairy tale scenery throughout for a whimsical look. Teater wanted to combine what she loved in her childhood with a magical shopping experience.
The Frog Prince offers vendors a place to sell their products year-round and you can find something for everyone on your list all while supporting local businesses and crafters. The selection of captivating merchandise will hold your attention for hours, much like a good fairy tale will.
